Kamran School is a specialized non-public school for students with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. We aim to provide at least a one-to-one student to faculty ratio at Kamran School in order to ensure each student’s needs are being met appropriately. Each student’s education will be driven by their Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and will also include all of the related services they require. Our goal is to provide our students with all educational and therapeutic support within the school day. This will alleviate the need for their families to spend the money and time on private services after school.
After obtaining the licensure through Maryland State Department of Education, Kamran School will open its doors for students in July 2026 as a non-public school for autism. This will allow the public school systems within Maryland to send autistic students whose needs are not being met in the public school setting to Kamran School. Our school will welcome students with autism who qualify through the public school districts as well as autistic students whose families would like to pay privately for them to attend Kamran School.
Kamran School is a personalized educational experience for students with moderate to severe autism. Based on comprehensive learning and inclusive of all related services, Kamran School is accessible and compassionate. Each student's educational plan builds on their specific strengths to target their areas of need. Our school creates a respectful and professional environment, with educators trained to value the diversity of each individual child to ensure and promote their growth.
At Kamran School, we facilitate the growth of each student's abilities to enable them to become the best version of themselves. We pride ourselves in meeting each student at their present level and working with their families and the community to build a unique path for their success.
